Cancelled - Screening: Searching for Posada: Art and Revolutions

In keeping with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), especially pertaining to the holding of public events, the following documentary screening is cancelled. The health and safety of our community is of great importance and we feel that cancelling this event is an appropriate step to help limit the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Please take care of yourself and see a doctor if you are not feeling well.

The Grabhorn Institute invites you to attend a screening of the documentary film Searching for Posada: Art and Revolutions, produced by Jim Nikas and Maryanne Brady. The film tells the story of famed Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada and his main publisher, Antonio Vanegas Arroyo. Following the film, we will host a question and answer session with Jim Nikas, Director of the Posada Art Foundation.

Exhibition on view February 11, 2020 through April 3, 2020. Free and open to the public during business hours, Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
